I wonder how much these individuals are spending on pricy phone plans, streaming and cable TV packages, liquor and recreational drug usage, etc. Maybe they just need to cut back on little in those areas of expenditures to have more for food.

I hear ya, especially given how good even modest home theater set ups can be. Having said that, watching a flick on the big screen is just fun. The theaters are now set up for maximum comfort and more and more have a full bar.

Same here.

We have a quality big screen/5.1 surround system at home, but we save going out experiences for movies best seen on a huge screen at our local IMAX theater. Too many multiplexes have screens that aren't large enough to make a big difference between there and home.

When I went to see Ron Howard's 30th anniversary edition of "Apollo 13" at the IMAX last week, the huge screen was a major plus.

So domestic beef prices will drop then, right?

We'll see. Typically, oversupply leads to lower prices. Like corn and wheat.

But meat processing plants may not be able to process an oversupply of beef thanks to ICE raids.

I've driven through a couple thousand miles of farm country the past month or so.

There were countless fields of soybeans near harvest time alongside corn.

Prices for soybeans have fallen dramatically already into loss territory.

They'll fall even further as a vast oversupply leads to even lower prices and bigger losses for farmers.

All thanks to Trump's tariffs.

Blood clots are one of the symptoms of COVID infection itself. The MRNA vaccines have no live virus.

You probably caught COVID but never realized it because you were vaxxed, which prevented classic symptoms.

The vaccines never claimed to prevent infection, just keep us out of the hospitals and morgues.

I was driving in rural central Michigan by the same old dumps I have been driving by for like a decade thinking, "I really should take a picture of these dumps decorated like it's Christmas with Trump signs and paraphernalia." I mean DUMPS. 8+ old rotted worthless cars in the year, 50 year old ag equipment just rotting in the "yard" - not decoration stuff, dilapidated homes...

I was also thinking "I just wouldn't want to get shot..."

I've been through quite a lot of rural America the past couple of months. It's the same story in every state I traversed:

Many huge Trump flags in front of dilapidated houses with junk in the front yard.

All one can do is shake their head and silently say, "way to be against your own best interests.' Suckers!

BTW, I called a friend in Grand Blanc yesterday after reading the news. This is the 12th mass shooting in Michigan this year!
