Sort of lost the whole point of the show.

It does seem to be a complex issue from what I just read.

However, from a judgemental moral failure POV, what we saw could have happened in Pottersville is pretty well on the mark what is happening across much of the US.

And moral depravity is becoming less and less something negative in our society.

I should have said judgemental moral failure.

I suspect it was edited because the moral decline of Pottersville was presented as a moral failure.

Sort of similar to what we're seeing all across America.

There is the copyright issue involving a short story but since Amazon showed both versions then that negates that possible motive

I really don't know. From what I understand, the Bible doesn't fully address this.

How about people born after Christ but never heard of Him? Or the millions of souls lost to abortion?

When people identify as Christian, they aren't claiming to know all the answers or to have a direct divine connection for every question. Faith often means trusting in God's justice and mercy, even when we don't fully understand or deserve it.

One thing seems clear to me though. Jesus came for some purpose. If everyone is the same in God's eyes, there would be no reason for the Gospel.

Some people who identify as Christian have experienced incredible, meaningful events in their lives. They were moments they describe as nearly miraculous and difficult to dismiss as imagination or coincidence.

I know I've had several extraordinary events in my life that go far beyond luck. They've strengthened my faith.

I understand that you have deep respect for Jesus as a teacher and spiritual figure, but Christianity is not just about respecting Jesus. It's about believing in him as the Son of God (fully God and fully man), the Savior of the world, and the only way to reconcile with God. As Jesus himself said in John 14:6:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
