It's pointless. Trying to "debate" here or anywhere is a waste with wide-eyed zealots who suck down everything their idol, a known lifelong slumlord, proven fraudster and adjudicated sexual predator, feeds them.

He literally can do no wrong with this crowd, no matter how many laws, customs, or ethical standards he violates, because they think like he does. MAGA zealots are incapable of shame, instead admiring a bully who ignores the law and punishes everyone who doesn't agree with him. They're fine with trashing the safety net in favor of the wealthy. They enjoy watching masked thugs cracking heads and dragging moms out of their cars.

The only thing giving me hope I have is that cracks are starting to appear in the GOP, and the polling is not in Trump's favor.

His approval ratings continue to fall, and now even some of his fellow Republicans are starting to question his actions. His response, of course, is to double down and act even more insane. He's so far out of control that clearly he must be removed from office, but we have a nation of cowards.

You'd have to be insane not to have a problem with this. The same with the ballroom being built by donors. The replacement of public money with private is a very dangerous move. Oligarchs are quickly replacing the democratic institutions. What happened to all that "we the people" mantra?

By the way, the best peanut butter is Smucker's Natural. Pure peanuts plus a little salt. No partially hydrogenated soybean oil. You have to stir it every time you open the jar, or keep it in the fridge, or else the natural oil in the peanuts will separate.

Classically humble TV characters like Andy Griffith or Mister Rogers are seen as weak in these days of social media and podcasts and "owning" the libs. Empathy and compassion are for wussies. Just ask Elon Musk or Charlie Kirk. Nowadays rage is all the rage.

If you're a shallow, hateful person, unwilling to be vulnerable and considerate of others in your short life on earth, you can convince yourself that rudeness equals strength. But it's a sad, delusional way to live, and it's got America and a pickle.

It turns out that a lot of people who thought of themselves as conservative actually kind of like fascism. They kind of like having a vengeful dictator making up laws as he goes, ignoring the courts,
invading our cities, blowing up boats, making a profit off the presidency, firing thousands of people, attacking the media, taking healthcare away from millions and ruining our international standing. They like his cruelty and his contempt for the little people.
