The court of public opinion doesn't have the same burden of proof that the courts do.
Nobody here is claiming to have an airtight legal case, although I'd say the circumstantial evidence, at least, is pretty damn strong that the pervy president committed crimes related to his relationship with Epstein. We're just people talking. Just like the talk that's going on in every other coffee shop and diner and office and home in which people pay attention to politics and powerful people.
And it's not just the lefties who are raising eyebrows about all the ugliness coming out of these latest files. Semi-Nazi Nick Fuentes posted on Twitter that "MAGA is dead." There are very real defections going on in MAGA land right now, and a lot of people who were on the fence are starting to think the stench is getting too bad to ignore. This could mean worsening disenchantment with Trump, made worse by all the other non-Epstein corruption and bonehead moves he's made, which might well cause a realignment in the political power structure " regardless of what happens in any court.
People used to laugh that Reagan was the Teflon president. Trump is far worse. He has gotten away with literal crimes, not to mention the dismantling of American principles. We can only hope this is the beginning of the end of that.
