No, everything is just Trump's post-hoc justifications to make his trashing of the economy seem like it has a rational basis. His only real goal is for the stock market to collapse so his short selling makes him billions of dollars.

I realize that blaming immigration issues solely on Dems is your bag but, as I already mentioned before, the GOP sabotaged immigration reforms so ... Seems to me that high inflation was the issue that was universal amongst all nations.

Hope the GOP does this as it will help eliminate the filibuster, which the GOP uses to stifle all progress.

It will give Dems cover to start passing laws with a simple Senate majority once they hold the reins again.

Stocks are down since inauguration day, but right around where it was before Trump won the election. So, I suppose Trump could rationalize market manipulation theft, claiming that he is just taking back what is rightfully his (i.e., all the value he added to the market by winning).

This is good news for anyone who shorted stocks anytime after election day because they knew that Trump was going to intentionally tank the economy.

No, he's not a Republican, at least not in today's environment. Used to be room for liberal and moderate Republicans, but they've almost all been chased out with the advent of the Tea Party/Gingrich.

He's a perfect Trump Republican, though. Blind MAGAt loyalty to Trump above all else is the only requirement.
