Desantis is spending millions of taxpayer dollars in his partisan efforts to defeat Amendment 4 which will eliminates bans on abortion in tis state but what it will not do is end the need for minors to get parental consent to get an abortion (of Daddy's baby?) on that issue which is a talking point in all the ads he is funding with state taxpayer's dollars and it is a flat out lie. Amendment 4 will not end parental consentm it won't change that requirement at all. It will end abortion bans; 6 weeks, 3 months, whatever. Parental consent is a state law which will still be in force if Amendment 4 passes or not. The Legislature could choose to repeal it or not but to eliminate the requirement only the Legislature could do it and the won't.
