I was in 7th grade in a Catholic School in Mississippi because the Navy had built a new air base to train jet pilots there and my father was a pilot instructor there. My Father was a 30 year Naval Officer who joined as a seaman at age 17 and only went through the 9th grade in school. He became a pilot during WWII when enlisted men could become pilots and then, because of that, he got to go to OCS and became an officer. He joined during the war as did four of his brothers joined various branches of the military.
I can tell you this about all of them; if they saw some lunatic walking around wearing a Swastika that lunatic would get a serious beat down! Those men fought the biggest war in history to defeat the Nazis so it shouldn't surprise anyone that they just would not tolerate Nazis today!
