The discussion about a Greenland invasion has gotten away from the basic reason Trump claims requires it. The Danish and the Greendan governments have both giventhe U.S. unfettered access to the island for many decades even allowing us to place nuclear weapons on Greenland and permanent bases there with long range bombers capable of reaching Russia so what is this sudden need to occupy the island and control it?
