The only real insurrection in the United States since the Civil War was instigated by Donald Trump on national TV when his mob invaded the Capital. The demonstrations in Minneapolis are relatively tame and the violence is manipulated by Trump and Noem's hiring of ignorant, untrained, racist thugs but even then the violence has been minimal compared to riots during other times
of our history in ten the past fifty years. Right here in Miami we had riots that make the demonstrations in Minneapolis look like the photo ops they were intended to be by showman Trump.
And Trump's "tough guys" (ICE) would have gotten seriously hurt by the rioters only a few blocks from my Dad's house. The National Guard was therechecking every car going in or out of the riot zone for months after the riot. People were dragged out of their cars and mirdered right in the intersection . Those I.C.E. thugs would have run and hid in that riot. And. That wasn't the only violent riot back then, there were others but I don't remember the President using the Insurrection Act to quell them.
That one Insurrection was caused by the same President we have today just because he couldn't deal with the FACT that he LOST his reelection to sleepy Joe Biden!

Maybe CBS is failing because most Americans don't want another zFox News and that seems to be the direction the new owners want to take and millions of us don't watch Fox and we aren;t going to watc atch a new Fox Propaganda Network. I've switched to many internet sources and watch much less network TV for news or for entertainment.
