Whereas a child born from parents in China (my daughters) would be Chinese citizen only. Today she holds both US and Chinese citizenship, this is very common here.

This is not China Commie Spyboy.
We have a Constitution.
It's not "common" here.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof (United States), are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
Its not a repeal, its an interpretation.
What's to interpret? Which word do you not understand Commie Spyboy? Maybe someone can help you with your English translation.
"Illegal immigrants, no constitutional rights!"
What a hateful human being.
If they are a "person" then yes they do have rights here.
I know I'm going out on a limb here.. but all humans have rights. And BT (before Trumpy) we actually wanted to spread our democracy and make sure humans had those rights around the world.
Now apparently we are just toxic hateful selfish bastages who don't even follow our own constitution.
