"Rescind regulations prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, and sex characteristics. The President should direct agencies to rescind regulations interpreting sex discrimination provisions as prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, sex characteristics, etc. (p. 584) LGBTQ+ discrimination."
That's done by signing an executive order.
That's ending democracy?
en.wikipedia.org
As of May 9, 2023, President Biden has signed 118 executive orders.
Donald Trump signed a total of 220 executive orders from January 2017 to January 2021. As of July 2024, 71 of them (32%) have been revoked, many by his successor, Joe Biden. What does that say about the other 149 EOs signed by Trump?
I'm sure you don't mean to say that executive orders constitutes "ending democracy".
Perhaps that's a little dramatic?
The huge irony here is where those who tend to lean pretty far right and listen to talk radio/podcasts from right leaning sources is that they are very loyal to these folks (Limbaugh, Hannity, etc...and now Rogan, etc).
They trust these people.
and why? because they don't trust anybody else.
Where there is a huge presence of trust.....it's based on a lack of trust.
But it's all about being told what they want to hear.
Even with the left....when CNN or MSNBC disappoints a leftie.....the leftie just says "oh..----- them, they are ------ in the head anyway"
Which is better than just swallowing what they say whole, I suppose.
