It's a little harsh. I really don't know if he's voted along with plenty of other posters here who don't realize there are a lot of other items to be voted on your ballot.

Have you voted? Do you realize there are many other elections on the same ballot?

I have 2 kids graduating next May. One with an undergrad and the other law school but they both attended a public university for their bachelors degree(s).

While there is anecdotal evidence of universities allowing an environment of "political obedience", it's not as pervasive and heavy-handed as you might think.

There are some examples in the NE, and the West Coast that supports your assertion but it's not everywhere.
