This was a good thread to read through. You make some good points. I'm not a fan of A Friend's posting style but he also makes good points. You're both right, IMO.

But this is where I disagree. AOC is from a very blue district and she can be used effectively if done wisely and with caution.

As it was pointed out.....the Democratic Party is not entirely progressive as much as you want it to be.

I hope the party doesn't make the mistake of believing AOC can turn moderate democrats into progressives. To get them to buy into progressive policies they currently don't support.

I don't "want" to hear anything specific. I'll take information in whatever biased slant it comes. I don't desire it to be from a certain perspective.

I accept that information can't be packaged that way. It comes the way it comes and it's my job to sift through the noise. Not avoid the noise.

It's not a call to violence.
