It was "Palestine (British Mandate)" from 1920-1948, on the map.
The Palestinians have zero chance in creating autonomy at this point. The situation has been totally fcnked, largely in part due to the US and UK tipping the scales against their favor.

1948 was in the 20th century. Stealing brown peoples' land to build a theocracy, in the 20th century, was a bad idea in light of the wars and atrocities the world had just seen. Ancient backwards solution to a modern problem. Secularism should have been the way forward. Instead we're to correct for atrocities with more atrocities, like our barbaric ancestors
