You all should realize that the unequal tariffs we experience, the narrow exceptions for select companies etc., are all artifacts of self-dealing by our crooked af reps and their cadre of perma-state appointees and lobbyists.

"I have no purpose, directly or in-directly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so," Lincoln said it his first inaugural on March 4 of the same year.

U.S. Grant had freed his ONLY slave, William Jones, BEFORE the Civil War in 1859.
