I suspect the above is a cut-and-paste from a memo you received from your Russian handlers. It is just a likely a "fact" that EVERY Russian tank killed by Ukraine also includes a bonus of at least Russian tank crewmembers, in addition to fuel and ammunition. Inexperienced crewmembers make mistakes, adding to the likelihood of more killed tanks. Another bonus might be the Russian infantrymen standing near the tank when it leaves the battle.

For a brief period in my AF hitch, waiting for an assignment, I was made the squadron's technical order librarian. I had the proper clearance to read everything, because I had been vetted before I went to the technical school to become a jet mechanic (E4, 43151E). I had to deliver and install updates to the manuals for each individual aircraft. I drove around in the panel truck, dropping off updated pages with the crew chief. Each person who got the pages was told they had to remove and replace all the affected pages. I then installed updated pages in the main library and in the branch offices. One time, I got careless, and dropped a replaced page on my run without realizing I had done so. Somebody found it, and turned it in. I got talked to by the First Sergeant and promised to go forth and sin no more. End of amusing anecdote.

I am reasonably sure in Biden's saga, some monkey in the chain of command fxxked up. The event was over and done with, until the Congressional Rethuglicans caught wind of it and declared a catastrophe.

Some Marine wannabes get weeded out before they become Marines, and that's how it should be. Along with the killing skills, Marines have also been taught discipline. I learned to be a SSGT jet mechanic during my one-hitch Air Force service (67-70 with a Southeast Asia Early-Out). A Marine learns to be a rifleman before he goes on to technical school. Many former Marines are NOT nuts, as demonstrated by my friends who are Former Marines.

We have a twenty-foot tall Civil War Memorial Statue in Oshkosh, WI downtown, commemorating battles, with a Union officer and two enlisted types charging. This is fine. Wisconsin contributed the Iron Brigade, after all!

Maybe if the Bibles were autographed by Jeebus Hisself?

How does a court martial work for somebody no longer under the rules of the UCMJ work, anyway? Does an officer have to resign the commission, or what? I know you have to make a new oath when you reenlist.

My graduate school (UW-Oshkosh Graduate College of Business) became seriously accredited when I was partway through the program. Classes I might have skated through added some flaming hoops for would-be graduates. I was granted the MBA in 1975.
