For the second time in less than a month, The DOJ has dropped fraud charges against clients who recently hired Attorney General Pam Biondi's brother Brad to represent them. In the first case the Feds drop charges against a former Florida state rep who was charged with defrauding a Covid-19 relief fund program. In this more recent case the newly appointed AG for the eastern district of Missouri bypassed the career prosecutor who was bring the case and personally asked the court to dismiss charges brought against property developer Sid Chakraverty, his brother, Vic Alston, and their accountant, Shijing "Poppy" Cao for defrauding St. Louis out of more than $3 million in sales tax exemptions and property tax breaks.
The US Attorney's office of Washington DC failed in their attempt to indict Sean Charles Dunn on the charge of felony assault of an officer after Dunn threw a sandwich at a member of Custom and Border protection. In what can best be described as a sad, pathetic, weak, tiny d energy move the White House has lashed out against musician Jack White after he criticized the Trump administration which recently used his music without authorization in an ad promoting ICE's kidnapping of people without due process. Steven Cheung, White House communications director, called White "a washed up, has-been loser" and said the artist "has ample time on his hands due to his stalled career." That's quite the stretch considering White is currently busy touring to promote No Name, his 2024 critically acclaimed album, while also preparing for his November induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Posted this about him on a different thread.
O'Neill will be the first person in the 80+ year history to head the CDC who is not a doctor. He has one of those elitist masters degrees in humanities from the University of Chicago (Obama liked that school) with a background working in hedge funds. Aren't those things the right are always crying about?
He has no qualifications that should make one believe he's an appropriate pick for this role, not even if it is only an interim stint. He favors deregulation of the pharmaceutical industry and thinks patients should be free to take pharmaceuticals at their own risk. Wants to leave determining efficacy up to the free market. Putting it another way, he's an advocate for snake oil salesmen.
