Here's my answer to your question. The government may restrict the issuance of a visa based on speech but does not have the authority to revoke them based on speech once the person is within our borders. The first amendment is not limited to citizens and I'll refer you to Justice Francis Murphey's concurring opinion in Bridges v. Wixon.

Fox News has the solution, involuntary lethal injection.

A lot of people don't realize this but Robert Redford could have been an MLB hall of famer had he not been shot. He had that much talent. Some people even called him a natural at the game. I saw a documentary that explains it all.

There's this thing called the internet and the internet has things called websites. These consist of webpages that contain information. There are these other things called search engines and you can use those search for specific information stored in these webpages. If you were were to search for something like "Kamala Harris Farm Plans" then you would find the Farm Bureau site which has a great side by side comparison of those campaign promises. Kamala gives a someone details answer on the issue of farm labor where she explains to farmers how she will protect their labor and would continue to grow the number of legal agricultural labor workers that would available to hire. Trump's plan is basically America, ---- yeah. If you were a US farmer in 2024 and read the two plans then you should be smart enough to know that about 60% of your labor requirements are met by immigrants, either legal or otherwise. If you still voted for Trump then you really have no reason to be surprised that he has now made it very difficult for you to hire immigrant labor because he told you that is what he was going to do. The part he hasn't delivered on is the part that you should also know he wouldn't be able to deliver on and that is suddenly creating a sufficiently sized pool of US born agricultural workers to take the place of the people he deports.

However, anyone trying to say his comment is representative of Foxnews is throwing straw.

You keep saying that but you don't bother to explain why Fox left him on the air or why they let him go back on the very next day. Fox has taken no action that would indicate what he said is not representee of their company.

If someone were to put a bumper stick on your car that says "Murder The Homeless" would you remove it as soon as you noticed it or just leave it there and let people think that is what you believe?

You make it sound like it was said by some rando in a man on the street interview.

This wasn't a guest on the show. It was a host who is paid by Fox to represent the network. It was also his cohosts who both gave verbal affirmation of his idea. There's a back room of people at Fox whose jobs are to monitor the content. Those decision makers allows the show to continue when they could have pulled him off the air much like they did when Rebekah Koffler appeared to be drunk when they had her on as a guest analyst a couple months ago. They could have cut to commercial and issued an apology after the break.

I wonder what your reaction would be if NYTimes editorial staff ran an opinion piece calling for the death of all gay people who refuse to undergo conversion therapy.

I heard on the news earlier he apologized.

He did apologize but and as part of his apology he also said "I am obviously aware that not all mentally ill, homeless people act as the perpetrator did in North Carolina and that so many homeless people deserve our empathy and compassion."

It's not obvious to me that he believes homeless people deserve our empathy and compassion since he was calling for their imprisonment and execution the day prior.
Sounds to me like he was ordered by his superiors to apology or take a hike when the only option he should have been given was walk out of the building on your own or have security drag you out.

Nope...at no point did I mention killing.

It's cruel to stand by and do nothing. If they can't make sound decisions for themselves, then society needs to make that decision for them.

The articles I see on this have all understandably focused on Kilmeade but his statement is really just a one part of the problem. His statement was a follow on to that from one of his cohosts who suggested we should imprison the homeless and mentally ill for simply existing. Kilmeade then made his comment and both of his cohosts appeared to agree with him. Neither appeared to have thought his statement went way too far. That they weren't immediately pulled off the air and an apology issued by the network is all anyone should need to know about the extremism that is systemic at Fox News.
