The only reason I don't think the files have any dirt on Trump is 2020-2024. Democrats tried to... They were in possession of the files for 4 years. Given all of the other actions they took I find it almost impossible to believe that if the files had anything of substance they wouldn't have leaked it to the lapdog press.

Another lie from you. Democrats weren't in possession of the files. The DoJ was in position of the files and they had an open investigation running until it was suddenly closed by the same DoJ leadership that is currently breaking the law to keep the files hidden. Closure of the investigation was done despite a clear failure to review the evidence.

Trump did succeed at one thing. He got people to stop talking about Epstein for a few days at a time when the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump was trafficking victims to Epstein through the spa at Mar-a-lago despite warnings from Trump's own wife. Management at the spa was even warning girls before they sent out to be assaulted.

The White House had no plan for dealing with the fallout. The entire charade is just an ego move by Trump.

This article reminds me that there will likely be dozens of Americans who are seriously wounded or killed tonight by some "responsible gun owners" who fire a few rounds into the air to celebrate the new year.

I'm sure he's always insisted that he is a "responsible gun owner".

Some other details reported by the Journal -
Epstein's address book contained personal contact information for multiple Mar-a-lago spa employees.
Former employees reported that Marla Maples warned Trump and employees about Epstein's behavior years prior to him being banned from the club.

MAGATS are only pretending to care fraud. How do they expect to be taken seriously when they elected a man who has granted clemency to dozens of convicted *illionaires who have collectively ripped off billions from the American public and who himself is a convicted fraudster 34 times over.

And guns is a great example. Far more suicides by gun than other method, but we don't effectively regulate that. So why regulate the far fewer number of people who want to transition?

Let me first say that I oppose the proposed regulations. That said, guns is a poor example when you consider the HHS proposed regulation would only apply to minors, a group of people that federal law generally prohibits from buying firearms.

Which is exactly the treatment path that US doctors most heavily rely on.

I was referring to therapy being the primary treatment. After that statement I went on to discuss the insurance industry data on puberty blockers.

They learned how to talk with each other privately.

It's pretty clearly about more than simple puberty blockers. Especially given the section following the above text laying out support for mental health issues to work through the frustrations and feelings to avoid the negative effects of early transition. They even flat out say that minors receiving therapy/counseling resolve their issues without permanent medical intervention/modification.

Even if one were to rely on Bellringers grossly inflated, false number of 0.3% of all US youth, then puberty blockers are used in extremely rare cases.
When one looks at the actual data then we see it's much more rare than that with the treatment being prescribed to less than 0.1% of trans or gender-diverse youth, a sub-group that makes up 3% of total youth. We are talking as low as 5k patients in total
I say that not to dismiss the significance of that number but to further emphasize what I already said in #86. There are a group of patients with physical and/or hormonal differences that make it so they can't be easily classified into the male/female/trans trichotomy that the discussion so often focuses on and none of the data that I've read appears to address how many of those patients are included among the total who have received puberty blockers or surgery.

Donald Trump is a murderer who violates international law with his orders to kill people who may or may not be running drugs to countries that are not the US. The only prize he deserves is a life sentence.

She believed that wildfires were started by space lasers and that the Sandy Hook and Parkland shootings were staged by the government. She's a very stupid person who is easily misled. She has no business being in Congress.
