SCOTUS has indicated in several decisions that they will uphold certain gun regulations, including who can bear an arm, where and when. They even cite the requisite laws from the proper times to fulfill their latest test they concocted out of thin air.

A few short years ago I never would have thought it possible that a branch of government would become so subservient to another branch of government that it would unconstitutionally attempt to limit the power of a co-equal branch of government just to placate a POTUS that would have been, according to them, their worst nightmare.

But here they cheer and go along with it.

Wait, you mean there are actual laws that define and regulate these things because they're under Congressional oversight as agencies that wield delegated Congressional power!?!?!

Great post, but I disagree with the final line.

He's not playing the same game in that Trump is the most shamelessly corrupt, money grabbing conman to hold office at the national level in our lifetimes.

So, in a way, he is playing it better...or worse depending on your perspective.

And it's everything the right whined about, claimed to be against and derided Biden for from 2020-2024. Over 1,100 pages, non-budget stuff being forced into budget bills, deficit spending and solidifying POTUS power in ways that violate the separation of powers.

I'm sure they'll be silent when it comes to any of that but will happily chirp the latest talking points and excuses when needed.

Wait until we find out he's in South Sudan and the administration claims they have no responsibility to bring him back...
