I'm all for abolishing the electoral college. Times have changed. Not only do we not need the filter anymore, but the politics in this country have become problematic such that winner takes all is stupid. It's time for a method that better reflects the purple shading of the vast majority of US states.

Except our elections are actively kept secure, which is why the levels of fraud are extremely low and perpetrators are usually caught (which is why we know they're usually Republicans).
