Trump was a known entity and Kamala was a much more unknown... People wanted someone to vote for, and she never gave them a clear answer on just about anything and therefore someone to vote for.

Low voter turnout is a clear message... we want a better candidate to come out for. Acknowledging that is a harder pill than just yelling racist/sexism though.
