Literally just had lunch with my own mom and we were discussing a similar topic.

Basically the we've gone too far with the mass labelling of toxic masculinity and taking the role of Dad's away. Generally, and not to broad brush too much, Mom's are the consolers and the Dad's are the "rub some dirt" on it parent.

Kids need both... Broad brush but the moms are the I don't want the kids to walk to school parent, and the dads are the suck it up and walk we did it when we were kids parent.

Now we minimize the Dad and call it toxic masculinity and we infantilize the kids.

This mom has it right, and the rest of society needs to stop clutching their pearls for her.

It's about time we put more laws around marriage... martial? Never mind.

One speculation though is that in having to deal with C02 waste in their habitats there will be scientific efforts and breakthroughs on sequestration technology. That technology will be immediately applicable in all fossil fuel burning facilities. They'll run into tons of other issues, just like NASA did through the 60's and 70's and look at the tech that we got from that.

Horrific story, and Texas needs to fix it's law but this really seems like even given the law as is that this was medical malpractice, outright.

The doctors could have documented things better, and had a clear case to do a D&C... In the write up they did say doctors are afraid of the law, but were sure to point out that many take the easy road to avoid the paperwork. Any doctor that allows you to die to avoid paperwork needs to find a new field. A doctor letting you die to avoid 99 years in prison, I understand, hence why the law needs to fixed.

I don't doubt for a second that anyone here is wrong about what any of these groups is going to be impacted negatively by what they voted for.

That being said, what the DNC is seemingly going to fail to learn from all this is that if you trot out another "It's their time" candidate you will lose again.

The Left should be using this to learn how to better connect with voters, but it seems you're intent on vilifying them and looking to double down on identity politics.
