Literally just had lunch with my own mom and we were discussing a similar topic.
Basically the we've gone too far with the mass labelling of toxic masculinity and taking the role of Dad's away. Generally, and not to broad brush too much, Mom's are the consolers and the Dad's are the "rub some dirt" on it parent.
Kids need both... Broad brush but the moms are the I don't want the kids to walk to school parent, and the dads are the suck it up and walk we did it when we were kids parent.
Now we minimize the Dad and call it toxic masculinity and we infantilize the kids.
This mom has it right, and the rest of society needs to stop clutching their pearls for her.
#21 anybody could have done better, because despite what Tony was selling Kamala has turned into an empty suit. Perhaps she had something going for her earlier in her career as a prosecutor, but she was not able to project anything of substance in this campaign.
