Back in the old days before the RNC, I was looking at Pres Biden as a candidate. And I had question marks.

But then Pres Biden did not proffer his ~passing of the baton~ decision until after the RNC finished, leaving the GOP with, well, Sen Vance. Whoa, that was an awesome strategic move on the part of Pres Biden.

Now the GOP is stuck with a fmr Pres Trump and a Sen Vance.

Neither of whom seem to have a clue how to deal with their diminishing polling numbers.

Fmr Pres Trump is appealing to his base in those whisper comments.

Taking a step back in a political campaign, fmr Pres Trump seems to be trying to appeal to, and keep, his current supporters.

But a political campaign is all about garnering new supporters.

Stated differently, what has fmr Pres Trump been doing or saying of late to add news supporters to his side?

Or, as it seems from the polling trends, is he just trying to [desperately?] hold on to the supporters he currently has?
