@#18 ... Trump Tower his son-in-law is building in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. ...

Trump Organization announces new project in Saudi Arabia (July 2024)
thehill.com

... The Trump Organization will construct a Trump Tower building in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the company announced Monday.

In partnership with a Saudi-owned developer, the Trump Organization effort expands its influence into the Middle East and comes after the Saudi government invested $2 billion with former President Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

The building would be the Trump Organization's first development in Saudi Arabia.

"We are thrilled to expand our footprint in the Middle East and bring the Trump standard of luxury to the region through our long-standing relationship with Dar Global," Eric Trump, the former president's son and executive vice president of the company, said in a statement. "This collaboration embodies our shared vision of creating landmark developments that exude luxury, quality, and sophistication." ...

OK, how might this affect fmr Pres Trump's run for the Oval Office?

Wait, the article continues...

... The announcement also comes weeks after developer Dar Global announced a licensing deal for a $500 million Trump International hotel complex in Oman. That project is not owned or operated by the Trump Organization.

Further development in the Middle East could raise concerns about conflicts of interest if Trump is reelected in November.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said last year that he plans to keep his $2 billion investment with Kushner's hedge fund unchanged if Trump is elected again. The investment, which came just months after Trump left office, raised questions of a potential quid pro quo between Trump and Saudi leadership. ...

Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation

Steve Forbert - Make It All So Real (1979)

Lyrics excerpt...

...
Take your seat in the table
Watch the cabaret fill
Ted came down for the singer
He saw the name on the bill
How the minutes were draggin', as the audience grew
Ted was growing impatient, as he swallowed his brew
"It's time to welcome the artist", he heard somebody say
Saw a face in the floodlight and ev'rything was ok....

Singer man, do your work
Sing your song
Make it hurt
Sing the tears
Sing the pain
Make it all so real

Then the singer was singing all his serious songs
And his band was a-playing;
Ted was hummin' along
Meanwhile back in a corner
There was a table for two
Where sat the singer's cute lover
And she was drinkin' a few

All snuggled up with a stranger
Who had his hand on her thigh
She was receivin' his message
And gazing into his eyes...

[chorus]

So the sound came a-rollin'
Tumblin' into the night
And all the people were ravin'
Saying, "Man our singer's alright!"
And "Such a burnin' performer!"
"What a fabulous show!"

Little lover was stirrin'
She was ready to go
And while the singer was wailing she got up to depart
The crowd was stompin' and cheering
She was breakin' his heart...
...

Yeah, they don't write lyrics like that anymore.

... Immigrants are no longer welcome in Donald Trump's America. ...

Not just any immigrants.

But those immigrants who, as I have noted previously from his comments, are not white Christians.

So, at this point, instead of focusing upon the negative, let's look at what fmr Pres Trump thinks is the positive side of his comments ...

Only white Christian immigrants are welcome in Donald Trumps America.

... For every New Yorker being terrorized by this wave of migrant crime. I've been talking about migrant crime for five years. I said, if you let them in, it's going to be hell. They are vicious, violent criminals that are being led into our country. They're people that their countries, who are very smart, they don't want them. That's why all over the world, a lot of people coming from jails out of the Congo in Africa, where do you come from? The Congo. Where in the Congo? We come from jail. What did you do? We will not tell you. They're coming from the Congo. They're coming from Africa. They're coming from the Middle East. They're coming from all over the world. Asia. A lot of it coming from Asia.

(46:34)
What's happening to our country is we're just destroying the fabric of life in our country. We're not going to take it any longer. You got to get rid of these people. ...

... Politico has obtained data that shows that the IP address listed with North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson's Nude Africa account is located in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina where he lived. ...

OK I do have an issue with this.

When I look up my current IP address on one site ( whatismyipaddress.com ), I am placed in Cambridge, Mass.

Yet on another site ( ipleak.net ), I am properly placed in Connecticut.

fwiw, that latter site, ipleak.com is, imo, a good, informative site.

YMMV and all that.

My concern, imo, IP geolocation is not yet, I'll say, worthy of court evidence.

The ISPs do not seem to be concerned in this area.

... None of this prevented the Republican Governors Association (RGA) from throwing its support behind Robinson. ...

The RGA has followed through. Data from AdImpact, a company that monitors political ad spending, obtained by Popular Information, reveals that the RGA, an affiliated PAC, and an affiliated non-profit have spent more than $17.3 million since June 11, 2024 on ads in support of Robinson. The money has financed over 20,000 ads across North Carolina supporting Robinson's candidacy. The actual expenditure by the RGA is far higher, as the $17.3 million does not include the cost of producing the ads, polling, or any other activities taken on behalf of Robinson. ...

The amount that the RGA has spent running ads to boost Robinson's candidacy in the last few months exceeds the total that Robinson's campaign has reported raising this campaign cycle ($15,757,019.87).

On Thursday, CNN reported that in a series of posts on a pornographic message board, Robinson referred to himself as a "Black NAZI" and expressed support for reinstating slavery. He also described spying on women in public gym showers and described himself as a "perv." A separate report in the Washington Post revealed that Robinson, using the same message board, praised Hitler's Mein Kampf, calling it a "good read."

Since that bombshell report, the RGA has not made any statement regarding Robinson's candidacy but, according to AdImpact data, the RGA's ads in support of Robinson's gubernatorial campaign have continued to run across North Carolina. ...

Where does the RGA get all the cash to support Robinson? Much of it comes from major corporations, ...

'Character assassination,' says one top NCGOP candidate after CNN story on Mark Robinson
www.newsobserver.com

... Following the news tying the GOP's gubernatorial candidate, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, to a series of graphic, offensive and racist comments made online about a decade ago, many are waiting to see what Republican candidates running across North Carolina will say.

They're also waiting to see what -- if any -- will be the fallout from this news for the GOP. So far, it's been mostly radio silence from the party's candidates, though one candidate for executive statewide office insinuated Robinson was being targeted. ...
