Hey it's all good. For all My faults and there are plenty. I'm not the one who voted for Trump three times. That is what BillJohnson did. I'm good here.

Liberals destroyed the extended nuclear family. They mocked marriage, created policies that rewarded broken homes, treated fathers as optional, and replaced community with government. Own it.

You're full of BS BillJohnson. Liberals did no such thing. You intellectually dishonest broker.

Trump was never really that good a con man. When this nightmares is over Americans are going to have to have a Come to Jesus moment when we identify how we brought outrselves so low.

Society got too greedy for it's own good and sold their soul to a snake oil salesman. Not only did society fail to acquire the wealth and purity the snake oil salesman was offering. He was instrumental in society's sharp decline

The simplest, truest, most obvious thing about Donald Trump is that he is insane. He's not insane, he's only doing what 50% of the nation hired him to do. You wont see anything other than a progressive/leftist point of view as being sane.

Only 22 percent of the total population voted for Trump. Not even a quarter of the population. Me thinks basic maths is hard for you.

Anyone is one medical bill away from homelessness. Don',t think it can't happen to you Boaz. Homeless people come from all walks of life. No socioeconomic class is immune from homelessness. Just FYI.

Churches have a long history as sanctuaries, evolving from ancient Greco-Roman temples to medieval havens for criminals and the persecuted, formalized under Roman law, and later becoming key sites for the U.S. Sanctuary Movement in the 1980s for Central American refugees, continuing a tradition of offering refuge from violence and unjust persecution, though the practice remains debated today. Ancient & Medieval Roots Greco-Roman Origins: Before Christianity, temples in Greek and Roman societies offered protection to fugitives. Roman Empire: Emperor Theodosius I (late 4th century) incorporated this concept into Roman law, making churches legally protected spaces for asylum from secular justice and violence. Medieval Practice: For centuries in Europe, churches sheltered people fleeing violence, feuds, and even the law; fugitives could claim sanctuary for a limited time, often requiring exile afterward. Modern Revival (U.S.) Underground Railroad: Churches served as crucial stops for escaped enslaved people in the U.S.. Vietnam War Era: Churches became sanctuaries for draft resisters, like those opposing the Vietnam War, creating a "sanctuary for the conscientious". Central American Refugees: Starting in the 1980s, the Sanctuary Movement began in Tucson, Arizona, with churches sheltering refugees fleeing violence in El Salvador and Guatemala, challenging U.S. asylum denials. Contemporary Context Immigration: Today, churches continue to offer sanctuary to undocumented immigrants, a practice controversial due to potential conflicts with immigration laws, though the government historically avoided raids in "sensitive locations" like churches. Focus on Innocence: Modern sanctuary differs from medieval times, focusing on protecting the innocent fleeing persecution, not harboring criminals.

Truth, "Bill will you condemn the Piggy administration for authorizing ice raids in churches?" If they are using the church to hide, it's a different situation.

Churches are supposed to be sanctuary for the oppressed. My God how far you've gotten in Trump's cult.

. The left despises the 1st and 2nd amendments. I'd hardly classify that as believing in the Bill of Rights. The left also despises the restrictions the Constitution laces 9n the federal government when Democrats are in power. On topic, the thread author points out yet another way the MSM (NYT in particular) report on stories. They are hyper critical of any perceived malfeasance on the right and treat malfeasance on the left with absolute kid gloves. The thread author highlights the differences in coverage between the 2020 riots and J6. NYT did produce an article highlighting the fraudulent Somali daycare centers in MN. I've only seen that one article, maybe they provided additional coverage and I missed it but I don't think that is the case. Abu Graihb was certainly a very newsworthy story. NYT? 39 front page articles about it. It made the Bush administration look bad so it was screamed from the rooftops every day for a month. That was roughly 20 years ago. They've grown ever more biased since then and it tracks with the continued decline in trust of the MSM.
