I'm a governor in a state that is purple -- it just is. I travel around the commonwealth consistently, listening to voters, and what I hear over and over again is a massive concern about the economic future and their ability to afford groceries, gas, tuition, and to buy a home or make rental payments. What I hear over and over again are major concerns about the millions of people that have come across the border and the hundreds of thousands of violent criminals that have crossed the border, just identified two weeks ago by senior ICE officials. What I also hear are major concerns about safety. These are the topics President Trump is talking about.
The "Special Report" anchor then turned to the high-profile murders of Jocelyn Nungaray, Rachel Morin and Laken Riley, all victims at the hands of violent illegal immigrants who entered the country during the Biden administration. "This is a specific policy decision by your administration to release these men into the country," Baier said. "So what I'm saying to you, do you owe those families an apology?" "Let me just say- first of all, those are tragic cases. There's no question about that. There's no question about that," Harris said. "And I can't imagine the pain that the families of those victims have experienced for a loss that should not have occurred. So that is true. It is also true that if [the border security bill] had actually been passed nine months ago, it would be nine months that we would have had more border agents at the border, more support for the folks who are working around the clock trying to hold it all together to ensure that no future harm would occur." read more

While vice chairwoman of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, former Rep. Liz Cheney used an encrypted phone app to directly and indirectly communicate around defense counsel --and possibly ethical rules -- with a witness who would later change her testimony in shocking fashion, according to evidence obtained by congressional investigators and Just the News. Cheney's Signal communications with witness Cassidy Hutchinson on June 6, 2022 and her friend, Alyssa Farah Griffin, were recently obtained by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chairman of the House Administration oversight subcommittee that has identified significant problems with the original Democrat-run inquiry into the Jan. 6 incident. read more
