A basic aspect off covering up atrocities is assassinating journalists whose jobs are to investigate and report. Totalitarian Behavior 101.

Personally, I thought Harris' jab of "If you got something to say about me, say it to my face" was the best sound byte of the last several election cycles. She nailed Trump's cowardice, racism, and misogyny all in one line. I have yet to hear an appropriate response from either Trump or the MAGAts.

In 2016 Trump was a man for his time. Tens of millions of Americans were horrified that a black man had been elected President. Twice. Trump, genuinely being who and what he is, ran on a platform of hate. In a sad yet dry real way, in 2016 Trump was in synch with a dominant white American mind-set in many regions of the country. In "swing States" he was precisely what angry "deplorable" white people were looking for. Times have changed. Trump's time, with it's focus on white rage, has largely passed among most voters.

How is it possible that posters Robson and BlueWaffles are so completely unaware of how racist they sound to regular ordinary people who might happen to read those posts? They, and people like Trump, are so fixated on race that they do not even realize it.

How tough it must be at this point to be a mature serious adult Republican and have your POTUS nominee be the Orange Fat Puddin' Pie.

I do not believe that Trump's age was a problem while Biden was the anticipated nominee. Now, I think, it is a HUGE problem. Voters, especially young voters, now have a choice as to whether or not they want some un-hip, fat, orange, unrelatable old fart in the White House. Can I get a "Hell No!"?

Right winger have been focusing their hatred, lies and criminal claims against Biden for so long that they seem to lack the passion, the energy, and the same level of desire to go after Harris in the same manner. It's a lot of work for Republicans to now make up as much garbage about Harris as they did with Biden. They're exhausted. Having so much hatred has worn them out. In fact, many GOPhers feel that now that they have ousted Biden, there is no need to battle on against Harris with the same ferocity and vitriol. Re-motivating the hate-filled base will take some time.
