Problem with 'the military' standing up to Trump is that Trump has purged the military of leaders with integrity and replaced them with obsequious ambitious MAGAt minded political officers. If ever there was a perfect time for China to in case and annex Taiwan, it is right now. While Trump is POTUS he will not allow the US military respond. And Trump tacitly is giving Russia a green light to invade Lithuania and Estonian when it is finished with The Ukraine. To say nothing of trying to bully both Canada and Greenland to surrender their sovereignty to the US.
