The British Empire had its time. And the American Empire has had its time. We are now, slowly, watching the growth of the Chinese Empire. To everything turn turn turn. There is a season. Turn turn turn.

The lifeblood of America is immigration. Legal. Illegal. Turning off the spigot never was and never will be a long term option.

It is easy to now contemplate gas at six or seven dollars a gallon. Especially here in SoCal.

#3: Petrous: That is a ridiculous claim given that the US military in it's initial investigation findings has acknowledged the US military probably bombed that girls school by accident. It certainly is consistent with bombing maps that have been made public.

What I find ironic is that most typical urban educated Iranians really like Americans in general. And yet they are the ones bearing the brunt of our bombs.

Regardless, killing civilians has never been a good look for the US military. Puts us in the same class as Netanyahu and Putin. Kill enough civilians and any differences between the bad guys become just a matter of degree.
