Things you say publicly - flags you fly, or signs you post, or stickers on your car - are public because you chose to display them publicly.

If you don't want those things exploited don't participate.

If an issue is so important to you you feel a need to publicly air your opinions then you shouldn't be surprised that people or other entities pay attention to what you are telling them. You can always just keep your mouth shut if you want privacy.

Speech has consequences. If you chose to make your vehicle a rolling billboard then don't be surprised when people or companies take notice.
