At the point where someone yells "gun", people moved in on him tighter and one man manages to retrieve the gun by reaching into the swarm of men on him.
My question based on what I can see in the videos, is there any chance the man who shot him missed the part where another agent got the gun and turned to leave. Did the man who shot him possibly think the gun was still in play?
Reading about that, there does seem to be the possibility. They didn't know he even had a gun at all and was surprised by it.
It was a split second between one agent reached into the mess of people on him, retrieved the gun and turned away and then the shooter fired his gun.
It's seems possible the man who shot him still thought the gun was in Pretti's possession.
Try to resist all the name calling and answer like a civil human being.
