Clearly the solution is to roll in a protest about Gaza, while we protest which workers are really essential.

She just wants to be in on everything young people are angry about.

Colin Alrad. I'm probably spelling the last name wrong but their competing ads, all of it is border related and none of it is abortion related. There might be some abortion access related ads in there but that's not what's getting played Ad nauseam on local news.

You can still get poor whites, but they're disproportionately represented.

Institutional racism is real in Colorado. When you disrupt a black market (get it?) you'll get mostly minorities.

In Texas, your senior HS year you have civics equivalent for half the school year and economics the other half. Two semesters of college level govt are required by the Texas state constitution for all bachelor degrees.

There's some homeless camps in Houston but the Dems in charge routinely bulldoze them. Not quite like Portland despite nearly 4x more people. If you want to see the zombies in the wild, you volunteer at the food pantry near Gunspoint (greenspoint) on one of the days of the month they hand out methadone at the clinic next door. When you are done with your shift you'll get to slalom around the zombies as they shamble through the street all day. It has a real Walking Dead vibe to it.

The most comprehensive studies in Colorado say what I'm saying. I'm only slightly off in that the decline was in 2017 not 2019.

Of course that's completely separate from the the hordes of white fenty zombies filling impromptu campgrounds that are driving calls for reversing hard drug legalization.

From legalization until 2019, Organized Crime charges for weed distro went up 400%. It took Covid.

The people that could afford licenses legalized. The people that couldn't, did not. Enforcement concentrates on those that did not.

It was inevitable when the entire structure to legalize weed was sold on how monetized and regulated it's going to be. People certainly got regulated, just not white ones.

In Colorado, when they legalized weed black incarcerations went up, not down. Licensing is expensive and designed to keep poor people from entering the market.

Anyways, Oregon reversed course due to the massive urban blight it caused. This experimentation in radical libertarianism created visible misery society isn't ready to turn a blind eye to.

but how do you set rates to begin with? You hire a company to do the market research for you and they suggest rates. The RealPage system is just more efficient at it. If the DOJ fails, don't be surprised.

it's none of the Governments business to lower rates or control prices for anything...

Not the case though. "Algorithmic collusion". It's illegal for 2 companies to agree to fix prices. Should it be legal for a 3rd party to take data from the 2 companies and suggest their prices to them? Probably, that's just collusion using an intermediary.

Is that what he implied? It came off to me as "I'd need a miracle to win a blue state".

Getting the rocket back is non-trivial. The successful landing rate is very good.

It probably doesn't cost 10x more to make

Elon musk thought so to. Dunning-Kruger in action. We know he was factually incorrect. Besides volume and technology mattering significantly in pricing, there is a massive engineering gap between the two. Automotive grade displays can handle temps to 185F, consumer electronics is 104F. Humidity, vibration, & shock resistance have to be orders of magnitude better. It has to be a minimum 800 nit screen to read it in sunlight, your TV is around 300 nit. A TV life cycle is 2-5 years, Automotive displays are 10-15. An automotive display has to comply with ISO, AEC, and EMC standards, a regular display only has to pass basic FCC consumer electronics regs. The product has to go through extended, harsh environment automotive testing.

These are all things early Tesla absolutely refused to do or pay for. They used TV grade screens because it was an order of magnitude cheaper and readily available, and they test things on the road with end users instead of investing in the sprawling test facilities owned by the "legacy automakers".
