I doubt that there's a single person on this blog who would be dissuaded from voting because of positive trend news, especially those living in swing states. There is a HUGE reason stories of Harris momentum MUST BE WRITTEN because Trump's whole "rigged election" message is based on the public believing that trends are in his favor for re-election, giving him credibility for doing exactly what he did in 2020 - dispute the results if/when he indeed loses.

And second, almost every Harris supporter that I know has also bought into the always looming reality that Trump could win based on the plethora of largely GOP polls, all showing him ahead. So again, anti-Trump voting trends are news that should be widely broadcast, but doing so in no way should be interpreted as a reason for Harris supporters to become overconfident.

Everyone understands that this race isn't over until every last vote has been cast and all of them have been tallied.

One last piece of breaking election news is that Pennsylvania is also seeing a marked rise in first time women voters, far outpacing men.

Nationally, a recent ABC News poll found Harris leads among voters over 65 by 5 percentage points - a 10-point swing towards Democrats from 2020, when Trump won voters over 65 by 5 points.

The senior vote is particularly important in five of the seven battleground states - Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina - that, according to U.S. Census data, have more residents over the age of 65 than the national average.

According to modeling data shared by a Democratic campaign operative tracking early voting, across the Blue Wall states, Democratic voters over the age of 65 are running 10 to 20 percent ahead of their Republican counterparts with respect to registered turnout.

And the same Democratic modeling shows Black voters over the age of 65 - and in particular older Black women, a core Democratic bloc - are returning ballots at a higher rate than any other demographic group.

But there may also be some silver lining for Harris, even in those metrics: Early voter data also shows women and suburban voters are overperforming so far and voters under 40, who had initially lagged in early voting compared to their registration numbers, are also improving their performance in recent days.

In response to his statements, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) called Kirk a "twit."

There's gonna be a lot of divorces started around next weekend if that's how the majority of GOP husbands think. Women are outvoting men so far by up to 13 points in the swing states and the majority aren't turning out because they want Trump to grab their privates. Just the opposite. They don't want to let Trump make them second class citizens and have the states dictate how, when, and where they can receive healthcare services that might just save their lives.

I shake my head at how someone can project so vividly while ignoring the reality most of us live in.

Americans from both sides of the political spectrum should be alarmed by Trump's words and behavior. The nation must confront the fact that beyond his hateful character, he is crippled cognitively and showing clear signs of mental illness.

There's no need to resort to armchair psychology to interpret what's apparent. If victorious, Trump would be the oldest president ever inaugurated. In recent weeks, he has canceled an increasing number of public appearances, with Trump's own campaign citing the candidate's exhaustion. When he does appear publicly, Trump struggles to complete sentences or sustain coherent thoughts, and has shown a pronounced difficulty concentrating and a tendency to repeat himself, sometimes within the same sentence.

When Trump made it hard for illegals to enter our country all I heard over here is how inhumane he was. Now that it's a huge issue in this election, the Democrats want to project a tough stance on illegal immigration onto Joe and Kamala.

It was inhumane to separate families seeking refuge in America.

This isn't about "projecting" anything. It's about the very thing Trumpers continue to mock out of their own ignorance: Dealing with migration at the source, not just at our own border. This isn't what should be done, it's what already has been done that now finds us with the lowest number of migrants in over 5 years.

But none of the critics above will bother to read what they don't know. They'll continue to wrongly call me a purveyor of false information, when I'm not. Here's the actual problem with Trumpers: They're ignorant. Totally. Fully. Completely.

They stay inside their own bubble and have no idea what happens outside. Reality is called that because it's REAL. There are receipts for every single thing that was done which has gotten us to today - the lowest level of attempted border crossings since the last decade. There are records being kept. The books are not cooked.

Just because they don't know about something doesn't mean that it isn't true. Real changes are what the title refers to and here are the details:

In politics, there's the story that gets told in public, and then there's what really happened behind closed doors. In this case, those two narratives are worlds apart. And Ms. Harris is paying for it. When polled, a majority of voters said they believed Donald Trump would handle immigration better than Ms. Harris.

If voters knew how Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris actually handled the border crisis, they'd most likely have a different opinion of which candidate could be trusted on this cornerstone issue.

For those paying attention, stories like the above are why "abortion" care is necessary at all times of a pregnancy - beginning to end. Ectopic pregnancies can kill mothers early and non-viable fetuses can kill mothers up to and including after being birthed, where the fetus dies quickly ex-vitro. It isn't so that mothers can make 11th hour selective decisions to abort otherwise healthy fetuses, it's to indemnify doctors and healthcare providers from being charged with crimes by overzealous prosecutors, now looking to charge miscarriages and complicated pregnancies that threaten the mother's own health and well being - necessitating the need for abortive care - which occur after the state's legal abortion time limit has been exceeded as violations of the law.
