Donald Trump is lagging Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania early voting with a critical and once-reliably Republican constituency: seniors. It's a warning sign for the former president that reflects early vote data and polling across the battlegrounds, after Republicans won the senior vote in each of the last five presidential elections. The data is in line with polling in the state that has shown Trump shedding support among older voters. read more

Many first-time voters were young teens in 2016 ... in which the former president seemed to endorse sexual assault during a behind-the-scenes conversation on an "Access Hollywood" set when he didn't realize his microphone was on. Now, young people are encountering the tape for the first time on TikTok, where users are sharing videos of their reactions and, in some cases, reaching large audiences. read more

A new Harris-Walz campaign ad voiced by actor Julia Roberts encourages women to vote for Vice President Harris in the presidential election, even if their husbands are backing former President Trump. Republicans have responded to the video with outrage, with some claiming that a wife lying about her vote is as bad as an affair. read more

Las Vegas Sun: Donald Trump's racism, sexism, xenophobia and penchant for corruption have long made him unfit for any public office, let alone the presidency. But as he continues his bid for a second term in the White House, there is an unsettling and undeniable shift that is leading many experts, observers and even some Trump supporters to conclude that the former president's mental acuity and sharpness are also in decline, that his physical health and stamina are waning and that his frustration and anger are boiling over. read more

According to a Fox News poll of Pennsylvania, Trump is running 5 percentage points behind Harris among voters ages 65 and over, slipping back from the previous month, when he and Harris were tied with that demographic. It's a major shift from 2020, when Trump carried 53 percent of the senior vote in Pennsylvania in a losing effort in the state.

Nationally, a recent ABC News poll found Harris leads among voters over 65 by 5 percentage points - a 10-point swing towards Democrats from 2020, when Trump won voters over 65 by 5 points.

The senior vote is particularly important in five of the seven battleground states - Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina - that, according to U.S. Census data, have more residents over the age of 65 than the national average.

According to modeling data shared by a Democratic campaign operative tracking early voting, across the Blue Wall states, Democratic voters over the age of 65 are running 10 to 20 percent ahead of their Republican counterparts with respect to registered turnout.

And the same Democratic modeling shows Black voters over the age of 65 - and in particular older Black women, a core Democratic bloc - are returning ballots at a higher rate than any other demographic group.

There is some good news for Trump coming from early voting metrics: Black voting in North Carolina is lagging 2020 and the overall electorate is skewing older and whiter.

But there may also be some silver lining for Harris, even in those metrics: Early voter data also shows women and suburban voters are overperforming so far and voters under 40, who had initially lagged in early voting compared to their registration numbers, are also improving their performance in recent days.

This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant.

This week, many said on the social network they were shocked by the former president's words and confused why the episode wasn't a deal breaker in 2016.

"I don't think any of my friends had heard it," said Kate Sullivan, a 21-year-old student in Ohio who heard the tape for the first time on her TikTok For You feed this week. "We all felt equally shocked."

People her age have less tolerance for sexual misconduct after growing up amid a series of high-profile harassment and assault cases involving major celebrities, Sullivan said. She immediately felt compelled to share the audio in her own video, with the superimposed text, "Fathers are voting for this man." The video has been viewed 2.5 million times and was reshared by singer Billie Eilish to her 68 million followers.

Brigid Quinn, a 15-year-old in Georgia, knew that Trump had been accused of making sexist comments, she said. But she had never heard the words he actually said - including the grab them by the -----' quote. She "didn't understand how people thought this was normal." She made her own video featuring Trump's audio in hopes her school friends of voting age would see it.

"I'm around a lot of [18-year-olds] on my sports team, and I thought maybe I could show them who to vote for," she said. Some people came up to her at school saying her TikTok was the first they had ever heard of the tape.

It's hard to believe that 10 year olds on up in 2016 actually didn't hear about Trump bragging of committing sexual assault considering they're so inundated with social media, but evidently that isn't the case.

Just another reminder among thousands why DJT is wholly unfit to hold any elective office, much less the US presidency. And if the kids really want to know why this wasn't a deal breaker in 2016 they should ask their mothers and fathers.

"In the one place in America where women still have a right to choose, you can vote any way you want. And no one will ever know," Roberts says in the ad as a woman on screen meets up with her husband after casting her ballot for Harris.

The voter winks at a fellow female voter as her husband asks if she made the "right choice."

"If I found out Emma was going to the voting booth and pulling the lever for Harris, that's the same thing as having an affair," Fox News host Jesse Watters said on air Wednesday in a clip highlighted by Mediaite.

Other GOP members including Charlie Kirk said the thought was "nauseating."

In criticizing the ad, he discussed a husband working hard to afford his wife's lifestyle, and then said a wife who lied to her husband about whom she backed would amount to undermining her husband.

"Kamala Harris and her team believe that there will be millions of women that undermine their husbands and do so in a way that it's not detectable in the polling," he added.

In response to his statements, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) called Kirk a "twit."

White male privilege personified. Can Trumphumping men be any more snowflake? Do these troglodytes actually think that they're entitled to know how their wives vote, and if she deceives them it's the same as having an affair?

There's gonna be a lot of divorces started around next weekend if that's how the majority of GOP husbands think. Women are outvoting men so far by up to 13 points in the swing states and the majority aren't turning out because they want Trump to grab their privates. Just the opposite. They don't want to let Trump make them second class citizens and have the states dictate how, when, and where they can receive healthcare services that might just save their lives.

The ides of Roevember are upon us.

You're living in bizzarro world.

I shake my head at how someone can project so vividly while ignoring the reality most of us live in.

The S&P 500 Has Roared by 47 Record Highs in 2024.

The S&P 500 has advanced 23% year to date, notching 47 record highs in the process. That upside comes from excitement about artificial intelligence stocks, falling interest rates, and the potential stimulus holiday spending could provide for the economy.

Not one word about the presidential race whatsoever. But there was this about Trump's chief economic policy he ignorantly talks about without understanding what it would do to our economy.
Companies ready price hikes to offset Trump's global tariff plans

Producers of a range of items, including clothing, footwear, baby products, auto parts and hardware, say they will pass along the cost of the tariffs to their American customers.

The planned price increases next year would come as consumers are beginning to enjoy relief from the highest inflation in four decades, and they directly contradict Trump's repeated assurances that foreigners will pay the tariff tab.

"It just hurts the consumer. Straight up. Ten times out of 10," he said. "Exporting countries do not pay the tariffs. It's just that simple."

Vice President Kamala Harris and Migration in the Americas: Setting the Record Straight

Achieving sustainable order at the U.S.-Mexico border - something all Americans rightly expect - is possible only through working on migration at all points along the migratory chain that extends into Latin America and well beyond. Vice President Harris' work in northern Central America and the Biden-Harris administration's efforts through the LA declaration have set the United States up for precisely that kind of sustained order - but only if elected leaders turn away from weaponizing immigration and work on real solutions.

Here's the actual problem with Trumpers: They're ignorant. Totally. Fully. Completely.

They stay inside their own bubble and have no idea what happens outside. Reality is called that because it's REAL. There are receipts for every single thing that was done which has gotten us to today - the lowest level of attempted border crossings since the last decade. There are records being kept. The books are not cooked.

Just because they don't know about something doesn't mean that it isn't true. Real changes are what the title refers to and here are the details:

Under the LA declaration, the Biden-Harris administration has secured unprecedented cooperation to curb irregular migration. Today, for example, Mexico is doing more to stem irregular migration to the United States than it has ever done before. The administration also created alternatives to irregular migration so that individuals fleeing Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela - the primary sources of instability in the hemisphere - could come to the United States in a sponsored, orderly fashion and be able to legally work shortly after arrival so as to contribute to U.S. prosperity and enhance stability in their home countries without delay.

Critically, the LA declaration built on successful migrant integration efforts in Latin America and spurred multiple countries to create new temporary legal status programs for migrants in order to stabilize these populations and to provide an alternative to migrating further. In May 2024, countries such as Ecuador, Colombia, and Costa Rica at the third ministerial meeting on the LA declaration announced regularization programs for various irregular migrant populations - building on the nearly 2 million Venezuelans who had already been provided status in Colombia alone. Today, more than 80 percent of those displaced in Latin America and the Caribbean have found a home in the region and have not proceeded to the U.S.-Mexico border.

They have no earthly idea that Biden and Harris made this happen. They don't know what it is and they refuse to consider its effect on lowering the numbers of migrants appearing at our borders trying to cross.

Ignorance isn't bliss, it's simply the state of partisan know-nothings - wallowing in it - still trying to deny that the hard work put in by Biden and Harris has caused the drop of migrants trying to cross our southern border. Never trust nor listen to the ignorant for they don't even know what they don't know.

"She is some sick bastard, that Hillary Clinton, huh?" Sid Rosenberg, a conservative radio host said. "What a sick son of a bitch. The whole ------- party, a bunch of degenerates, lowlives, Jew-haters and lowlives. Every one of them. Every one of them." "You got homeless and veterans, Americans, Americans, sleeping in their own feces on a bench in Central Park," he said. "But the ------- illegals, they get whatever they want, don't they?"

Grant Cardone: "Her [VP Harris] and her pimp handlers will destroy our country." "We need to slaughter this other people." (about a Trump electoral victory)

Tucker Carlson: "It's going to be pretty hard to look at us and say: 'You know what, Kamala Harris, she's just, she got 85 million votes because she's just so impressive as the first Samoan-Malaysian, low IQ former California prosecutor ever to be elected president,'" he said. "'It was just a groundswell of popular support, and anyone who thinks otherwise is just a freak or a criminal.'"

The White House purposely and illegally tried to cover up the transcript of what Biden said which was utter hate and contempt for 50% of America.

That wasn't what he said, if you place one single comma where it's supposed to be in his statement:

"Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage,' " Biden said on the call.

"They're good, decent, honorable people," Biden said, referring to Puerto Ricans. "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter ' s. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American. It's totally contrary to everything we've done."

The sentence makes no sense if Biden was not referring to Tony Hinchcliffe. Using the word HIS confirms what he meant. Trump didn't refer to Puerto Ricans as garbage, Hinchcliffe did. If Biden had been talking about a group of people he would have used the word THEIR not his.

The transcript was missing the possessive comma designating the subject being discussed was Hinchcliffe, not anyone else. Grammar has rules folks, even if Trumpers never do.

Puerto Rican Archbishop Calls On Trump For Direct Apology: Humor Has Its Limits'

"I enjoy a good joke," the archbishop, Roberto O. Gonzlez Nieves, wrote in a letter posted to Facebook. "However, humor has its limits. It should not insult or denigrate the dignity and sacredness of people. Hinchcliffe's remarks do not only provoke sinister laughter but hatred."

"It is not sufficient for your campaign to apologize," the archbishop added. "It is important that you, personally, apologize for these comments."

Waiting for Trump to apologize is usually a fruitless endeavor. It'll be interesting to see if he responds to the Archbishop's request with anything other than one of his short stubby middle fingers.
