Donald Trump is lagging Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania early voting with a critical and once-reliably Republican constituency: seniors. It's a warning sign for the former president that reflects early vote data and polling across the battlegrounds, after Republicans won the senior vote in each of the last five presidential elections. The data is in line with polling in the state that has shown Trump shedding support among older voters. read more
Many first-time voters were young teens in 2016 ... in which the former president seemed to endorse sexual assault during a behind-the-scenes conversation on an "Access Hollywood" set when he didn't realize his microphone was on. Now, young people are encountering the tape for the first time on TikTok, where users are sharing videos of their reactions and, in some cases, reaching large audiences. read more
A new Harris-Walz campaign ad voiced by actor Julia Roberts encourages women to vote for Vice President Harris in the presidential election, even if their husbands are backing former President Trump. Republicans have responded to the video with outrage, with some claiming that a wife lying about her vote is as bad as an affair. read more

Las Vegas Sun: Donald Trump's racism, sexism, xenophobia and penchant for corruption have long made him unfit for any public office, let alone the presidency. But as he continues his bid for a second term in the White House, there is an unsettling and undeniable shift that is leading many experts, observers and even some Trump supporters to conclude that the former president's mental acuity and sharpness are also in decline, that his physical health and stamina are waning and that his frustration and anger are boiling over. read more
In 2018, the NBA all-star said Trump doesn't "give a ---- about the people."Before anyone comments on LeBron James' 1st Amendment rights to express himself, I give you Harrison Butker and Nick Bosa.
"The number one job in America, the appointed person, is someone who doesn't understand the people and really don't give a ---- about the people," James said in a video. "And this time right now, with the president of the United States, it's at a bad time. And while we cannot change what comes out of that man's mouth, we can continue to alert the people that watch us, that listen to us, as this is not the way."

This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant.

You're living in bizzarro world.
I shake my head at how someone can project so vividly while ignoring the reality most of us live in.
The S&P 500 Has Roared by 47 Record Highs in 2024.Not one word about the presidential race whatsoever. But there was this about Trump's chief economic policy he ignorantly talks about without understanding what it would do to our economy.
The S&P 500 has advanced 23% year to date, notching 47 record highs in the process. That upside comes from excitement about artificial intelligence stocks, falling interest rates, and the potential stimulus holiday spending could provide for the economy.
Companies ready price hikes to offset Trump's global tariff plans
Producers of a range of items, including clothing, footwear, baby products, auto parts and hardware, say they will pass along the cost of the tariffs to their American customers.
The planned price increases next year would come as consumers are beginning to enjoy relief from the highest inflation in four decades, and they directly contradict Trump's repeated assurances that foreigners will pay the tariff tab.
"It just hurts the consumer. Straight up. Ten times out of 10," he said. "Exporting countries do not pay the tariffs. It's just that simple."
When Trump made it hard for illegals to enter our country all I heard over here is how inhumane he was. Now that it's a huge issue in this election, the Democrats want to project a tough stance on illegal immigration onto Joe and Kamala.
It was inhumane to separate families seeking refuge in America.
This isn't about "projecting" anything. It's about the very thing Trumpers continue to mock out of their own ignorance: Dealing with migration at the source, not just at our own border. This isn't what should be done, it's what already has been done that now finds us with the lowest number of migrants in over 5 years.
But none of the critics above will bother to read what they don't know. They'll continue to wrongly call me a purveyor of false information, when I'm not. The LA Declaration is real and it's been working to stop migration at its source. And in conjunction with other countries, a system has been created and actuated that keeps migrants in their home countries or other countries between their homes and the US.
This is a plan, and it's been working as we see from current border crossing statistics.

Vice President Kamala Harris and Migration in the Americas: Setting the Record Straight
Achieving sustainable order at the U.S.-Mexico border - something all Americans rightly expect - is possible only through working on migration at all points along the migratory chain that extends into Latin America and well beyond. Vice President Harris' work in northern Central America and the Biden-Harris administration's efforts through the LA declaration have set the United States up for precisely that kind of sustained order - but only if elected leaders turn away from weaponizing immigration and work on real solutions.
Here's the actual problem with Trumpers: They're ignorant. Totally. Fully. Completely.
They stay inside their own bubble and have no idea what happens outside. Reality is called that because it's REAL. There are receipts for every single thing that was done which has gotten us to today - the lowest level of attempted border crossings since the last decade. There are records being kept. The books are not cooked.
Just because they don't know about something doesn't mean that it isn't true. Real changes are what the title refers to and here are the details:
Under the LA declaration, the Biden-Harris administration has secured unprecedented cooperation to curb irregular migration. Today, for example, Mexico is doing more to stem irregular migration to the United States than it has ever done before. The administration also created alternatives to irregular migration so that individuals fleeing Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela - the primary sources of instability in the hemisphere - could come to the United States in a sponsored, orderly fashion and be able to legally work shortly after arrival so as to contribute to U.S. prosperity and enhance stability in their home countries without delay. They have no earthly idea that Biden and Harris made this happen. They don't know what it is and they refuse to consider its effect on lowering the numbers of migrants appearing at our borders trying to cross.
Critically, the LA declaration built on successful migrant integration efforts in Latin America and spurred multiple countries to create new temporary legal status programs for migrants in order to stabilize these populations and to provide an alternative to migrating further. In May 2024, countries such as Ecuador, Colombia, and Costa Rica at the third ministerial meeting on the LA declaration announced regularization programs for various irregular migrant populations - building on the nearly 2 million Venezuelans who had already been provided status in Colombia alone. Today, more than 80 percent of those displaced in Latin America and the Caribbean have found a home in the region and have not proceeded to the U.S.-Mexico border.
Ignorance isn't bliss, it's simply the state of partisan know-nothings - wallowing in it - still trying to deny that the hard work put in by Biden and Harris has caused the drop of migrants trying to cross our southern border. Never trust nor listen to the ignorant for they don't even know what they don't know.

"I enjoy a good joke," the archbishop, Roberto O. Gonzlez Nieves, wrote in a letter posted to Facebook. "However, humor has its limits. It should not insult or denigrate the dignity and sacredness of people. Hinchcliffe's remarks do not only provoke sinister laughter but hatred."
"It is not sufficient for your campaign to apologize," the archbishop added. "It is important that you, personally, apologize for these comments."Waiting for Trump to apologize is usually a fruitless endeavor. It'll be interesting to see if he responds to the Archbishop's request with anything other than one of his short stubby middle fingers.
