I trust Judge Chutkin to be studious in her decision. Remember, Jack Smith altered his new filing to comply with the Supreme Court immunity decision so that could favor the prosecution case considerably. The rest depends upon us voters.

If Trump loses the case, he has another habit of appealing the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court based on his claim that he got a raw deal re the venue. They'll overturn the guilty jury's guilty verdict and he'll get off scott free.

As an aside, it's a tall order but if Harris can get a filibuster proof Senate, she really needs to do something about this Supreme Court who have gone to the dark side.

I certainly hope so. Trump has a 'Hail Mary' habit of creating the publicity and then complaining bitterly about it.

As I've said before, it's up to the judge's discretion. Although I can't imagine why any judge would deliberately start a Sunday morning talk show public opinion war with no guardrails as to truth or authentication . . . and a desperate defendant like Donald Trump who is watching his life flash before his eyes.

If so, and this case goes to trial, I can see a request for a change of venue in the making. The nation's Capital is not a friendly jury pool for Donald Trump.

It wouldn't surprise me if all the usual slings and arrows lobbed at Williams would bother him in the least. It's who has the last laugh that's important.

For a non-lawyer, you're pretty sharp. By law, the defense is entitled to see the evidence (even exculpatory) against their client. But releasing a transcript to the public, unless so ordered by the judge, would give both sides an opportunity to ignite a "trial by public opinion" so as to influence a jury pool.

I'd expect a reasonable, non-Trump appointed judge, would take the seriousness of the charges under consideration before releasing a transcript to the public, for just that reason.

A transcript is red meat to the MSM. I'm sure you've seen it before.

Again, depending on what's at stake and the judge's point of view, it's usually better to let the facts come out in court rather than interpretation by the guests on a talk show. And that goes for both the prosecution and the defense.

Trump missed the mark.

What he was trying to say (choked up with emotion) is that so many people were still lined up on the highway waiting to get a glimpse of the golden glow that surrounds his beautiful body that some people had to go move their cars.

As a horse owner for most of my life I can testify that flys are attracted to manure.

I'm not sure he's "educated" enough to even be aware that he's telling on himself. It certainly doesn't seem so. It just isn't something that normal people do who are banging on all 8 cylinders.

However, it IS something tattletale children might do. We all probably knew one or two when we were growing up.

I disagree that it's just one person . . . Trump.

Trump is just the battering ram for the GOP. It's the GOP who wants a one-party authoritarian rule forever. If Trump blows it in this election, the GOP isn't going to quit there. They're in it for the long haul and they appear to be working in conjunction with Vladimir Putin who also supports Trump.

It's no coincidence that Trump is buddying up with a Trump ally, Victor Orban. There is a plan afoot and it probably involves blocking Ukraine from becoming a member of NATO. And we know the reason for that.

The fact that the GOP supports Trump and could put a stop to this kanoodling with foreign adversaries tells me that the GOP knows exactly what's going on and has been running the show from the beginning.

So, it's NOT just one person. It's the whole GOP.
