I don't see anything new about that. Big Brother has been watching everybody for years. They've only just recently developed a means of using your television to delve deeply into your TV viewing preferences so they can sell the information to their advertisers.

Your Smart TV is a lot smarter than your led to believe. They just don't tell you about that part.

I would suggest that anybody, including federal and state employees of both parties., record any phone calls, text or email from Trump or anyone representing Trump.

Their due diligence could be their salvation. Take so chances.

Is Maxwell threatening to blackmail Trump because she didn't get that pardon???

If so, she's flirting with her own suspicious death.

I wonder if she's smart enough to have a secret diary listing all their names and the extent to which they were co-conspirators.

Let me take a wild guess.

(Possibly) Trump threatened to blow the whistle on Deutsche Bank's money laundering scheme with Russia if they didn't bury his $300 million loan.

I don't recall all the details, but I seem to remember that Deutsch had a system whereby they could transfer Trump's debt to Russia who would then pay off the loan.

What it amounted to was money laundering.

Then, of course, there was the "memorial" Kennedy Half when there was no cash register bin for a $0.50 coin.

It seems to be headed in that direction. Right now, they're just working hard trying to excuse, cover up and bury his frequent flubs.

Eventually they'll decide that the less the public sees of Trump the better.

They'll have their work cut out for them as Trump continues on his whirlwind campaign tour of reading prepared speeches from a teleprompter. When he gets stumped, he usually reverts to his memorized blah-blah-blah about the 2020 election.

His staff/handlers have their work cut out for themself . . . meanwhile wishing they had a big hook like the one on the old Gong Show.

At Trump's age he has what is politely known as a "Senior Moment" when commonly known names or information momentarily (sometimes for days) escape him. It is an early sigh of Alzheimer's that tends to get worse rather quickly and more often.

Trump's doctors would be remiss if they weren't clocking this decline in Trump's cognitively closely.

Of course, Trump would adamantly deny such a thing even if and when the truth hits him smack in the face.

Intervention is sometimes required, depending on the circumstances. The Senate probably hasn't reached the 25th Amendment stage yet . . . but considering the rapid progressive nature of the disease, it won't be long.

My guess is that his staff will keep the disease hidden from the public for as long as possible.

I take that nobody else has an opinion about the topic of the thread, so you resort to Trump's tactics of attacking each other for their right to free speech.

Gov.Walz has already put the Minnesota National Guard on notice to deploy. (With Trump's approval)

If ICE doesn't leave and come to loggerheads with the National Guard, my question is:

Homer doesn't have to change anything. It isn't a matter of discretion. He just has to do what Trump tells him to do.

If Stephen Miller, of all Trump's Nazi cohorts, can read the writing on the wall, thus losing any chance of holding onto power, he'll tell Trump to get those ICE agent the hell out of Minneapolis . . and fast!

Trump holds the bribery case over his head. .He'll do what best serves Trump's interests.

Hopefully, it will be to put Trump's Gestapo into full retreat.

Obviously, the optics of what Trump voters are seeing on TV is seriously affecting his poll numbers. Trump asking them to believe him instead of their lying eyes isn't working.

Small wonder there.

On the other side, Congress, both Republicans and Democrats are voicing their refusal to vote for the billions of dollars allocated to DHS for ICE. An increase, in fact that would give Homeland Security a bigger budget than the FBI (so it's reported)

Trump, OTOH is once again threatening to shut down the government. He seems to be losing that advantage as more and more pressure is coming from his own corporate GOP supports and the Catholic Church.

His short term solution could be to fire Kriste Nome, Directo of DHS and her loyal sidekick, Cory Lewandowski. (sprry if I spelled their names wrong, but you get the drift).

Trump's problem is, if DHS is defunded, Trump is out of business and his hired thugs of marauding Gestapo pretending to be ICE agents are reduced to collecting unemployment.

Maybe. But Trump has agreed with Governor Walz about sending in the State National Guard.

You don't suppose Trump plans for ICE agent to shoot it out with the militarized National Guard, do you?

No, I think not. I think ICE is going to sneak out the back door with only a few left behind so Trump can save face.

Somebody has to organize the retreat.

Trump's plan to use Minnesota as a test case to cower American citizens to servility by use of force, intimidation, fear and murder has failed . . . not that Trump would ever admit defeat.

The burden of creating another plan falls on the shoulders of Mr. Nazi himself, Stephen Miller. The midterms are right on their heels.

Miller almost has no choice but to announce the presence of ICE agents around polling stations to scare people away from voting . . . for fear of being yanked out of line and hauled away to who-knows-where.

One would hope that cities and towns would pass an ordinance to keep ICE agent 500 feet from polling stations AND their parking area. (using the State National Guard as enforcers.)

I'm sensing a slight sliver of hope for Minnesota. With "hope" being that Homan has been sent to Minnesota to do nothing but supervise the withdrawal of ICE agent from Minnesota. (Some might call it a Trump retreat).

Plus, Governor Walz has ordered the dispatch of 1,500 State National Guard with their Army tanks and other high tech military resources to . . . what shall we call it (lol) . . . assist.

This, after now former ICE commander, Gregore Bovino, was retired (none dare call it fired) back to California to collect his pension.

I'm not sure how the statute of limitations might play a part, if at all.

Also . . . .

Florida's Judge Cannon's ban on disclosing the classified documents case is due to be lifted in February. That could open up another whole can of worms if allowed to proceed against "civilian" Trump and his co-conspirators at Mar-a-Lago who would probably rush to "Make A Deal" to save themselves.

It's no small wonder why Trump is pursuing his enemies list with such abandonment. With his poll numbers so far under water, he's facing the real possibility of impeachment if he doesn't find a way to stop the midterms in the next 10 months.

In short, he's fighting for his life which is, right now, flashing before his eyes. With a horned prosecutor wearing red leotards who looks a lot like Jack Smith leading the parade.

Trump won't be wasting his time on this lost cause for much longer

He's going to need all his brain power to use a blockade to stop all imports of oil to Cuba.

That doesn't appear to be legal. But then, when did that ever matter to Trump?

Or, will this be the straw that breaks the camel's back in the Senate.

Maybe Trump will start his own polling service and give himself 100% approval in all categories.

He might as well sue FOX News, too, because they also have him under water in everything except border control.

As an aside, I hardly think any lawsuit, ever if he could get a lawyer to put their license on the line for filing a frivolous lawsuit, would get past a judge's initial "Denied."
