After so much hard work getting through West Point, Trump's speech must have been a huge disappointment to many of those graduates.

Russia might have already left Ukraine if the MAGA party hadn't been holding up needed support at Trumps behest. All that needs to happen for this war to end, is for Putin to GTFO. But Trump isn't going to tell his boss to leave.

....three legal defeats within hours..
I think that speaks more to the volume of pending legal cases under Trump, than anything else. The guy has spent his entire life tying up courts (most likely as a distraction for other nefarious activities). He's practicing the same thing with his Presidency.

Just more xenophobia. I own my home, you're claiming I should own my home? Ridiculous.

That's not what I'm talking about. And unless you live in a cave you know it. I'm talking about foreign investment in massive amounts of commercial, agricultural and residential real estate. ...And the later is a big part of what is making housing unaffordable for so many Americans.

which also enables them to buy our land.

The US government could prevent foreign ownership of our land by passing a bill. Many other countries have already curbed such foreign investment. Why don't the Republicans do that?

They should do away with everything below a quarter.

The rest of the world is demonstrating that they don't care for Trump's strong-arm rhetoric. If we can't get rid of this Administration soon, the US will be left as an isolated island.

Since Medicare is mostly administered by private insurance, the only thing most people will likely notice is more denials of things the program will claim as 'nonessential', much like how private insurance is already denying claims.
I do have to laugh at the Republicans who were sooo afraid of death panels. Guess what morons... The insurance companies ARE the death panels.
We could have had a universal healthcare system decades ago. But the private sector hates to lose its profits. Just to be clear, a for-profit healthcare system does not benefit the sick. It benefits the shareholders. This should be abundantly clear, as the Big -------- Bill did NOT go after the waste in Medicare Advantage.

It sure didn't take long for you to prove my point. And FYI, I consume information from many sources. I try to stick to sources with a good reputation for factual and honest reporting. Or I try to verify what I consume. (Factual and honest would certainly NOT include the DOGE website. Or increasingly under Trump, any government website.) I don't watch CABLE news at all. CNN, MSNBC and FOX are ALL corporate crap.

I've asked the same thing in other forums. They never have an answer. They simply say it's all on the DOGE website. But now Congress wants to turn it into an official government agency. I predict DOGE will be the most wasteful, the most fraudulent, the most abusive agency, ever.

Republicans should never claim to be the party of fiscal conservatism again.

I rarely block anyone. But I finally had to plonk STD. He's making a lot of threads practically unreadable.

So you're just fine with Republicans allowing the wealthy to use the US government as their personal ATM, while YOU pay the bills?
