That show had contestants who would tell their story of hardship and what they hoped to win and usually they would as for some modest prize like bunk beds for their 8 kids which theyb supported by washing dishes in a restaurant 15 hours per day and then the decision would be made as to who won be an applause meter; and I am not maing this up, it was a real show on network TV 5 days per week. When the woman who had the saddest story would win she would get many extra prizes be really, nothing compared to today's shows. thibking back now it was sort of the Hunger Games reality TV show of the 150s.

I know my typing is atrocious. Give me a little slack, that's what a stroke does. I'm very lucky, it was. what the call a minor stroke, and I can function, live alone, do my own cooking and cleaning and even take my little dog Joey on walks to the park three times aday but I can't type well nor play my piano these days. If I had a choice though I'd give up typing if I could still play my beloved instrument; my piano.

Kristi Noem desperatey wants to be a TV star and if it requires a "Hunger Games" style competition that's ok with a soulless being such as her. I would suggest a more exciting version where the immigrants would be armed and allowed to shoot each other; start the show with 25 armed immigrants and the last one standing gets a free pass to citizenship. Several gun manufacturers are ready to sponsor immigrants who they think can win and, of course, arm them with their own brand of gun! Points would be earned for every non-white person slaughtered. We would honor our illustrious President by naming this the "Trump Games."

I understand your point but I would contend that we need such posters to remind us of the reality of the world we actually live in and the hate that does exist all around us every day. Shrimp may be reprehensible but compared to what al of us deal with in traffic, in check out lines at Walmart, in crowds leaving aftera concert or a sports stadium? Shrimpy is a non-lethal dose of hate.
