I live half my life in a South American country and I pay about $19.00 a month for general health care. Sometimes, I do not even pay and still am allowed to go get work done like scans, which are really cheap. $50 bucks I get a through teeth cleaning or can have a cavity filled in for about the same. There is health clinics in most barriers that people can afford. Then, I come back to fortress U$A and my friends and family are paying hundreds of dollars each month with deductibles for pretty much the same think I spend a hundred bucks on per year in Chile.
