You could be flippant, sure. Or you could look at it as trying to ensure life on earth remains sustainable.

Largely thanks to Herman Cortez, whose conquistadors drained the huge beautiful lakes, now dry lake beds modern day Mexico City sits on. The Aztec also built and incredible dual aqueduct system that brought running water to Tenochtitlan (modern day Mexico City) homes.

Largely thanks to Herman Cortez

This incredibly inefficient system supplied Mexico City with water before, so what's the new variable?

Just like guns, Conservadunces will talk about everything but the actual problem and how to solve it.

Fixing an aqueduct system won't solve the problem of too much heat trapped in our atmosphere. We're ---- up our food production and the uneducated idiots want to rearrange the chairs on the Titanic.

Al Gore warned us, way back in 2000. He was ridiculed for his efforts.
