And i have to noted, the roads in this area of Connecticut (i.e., Fairfield County) are little more than the colonial cow-paths that have been paved over for modern times.

Stated differently, an in line with the topic at hand, the roads here are windy. Many, oh so many blind curves. Major states routes avoiding trees.
