Here in Connecticut, there are now public service announcements (PSAs) highlighting the increasing number of deaths of bicyclists and pedestrians on the CT roads.

What are drivers paying attention to lately, besides the humans in front of the cars they are driving?

@#3 ... on the CT roads ...

And i have to noted, the roads in this area of Connecticut (i.e., Fairfield County) are little more than the colonial cow-paths that have been paved over for modern times.

Stated differently, an in line with the topic at hand, the roads here are windy. Many, oh so many blind curves. Major states routes avoiding trees.

That's the problem.

Drivers do not seem to be paying attention to what is in front of them.

Is it the ~home entertainment~ dashboard display that is presented to drivers?

Or is it their phones?

I wish I know...

The Lone Ranger asks his car to go get help.

It comes back with a naked woman inside.

The Lone Ranger says, "P.O.S.S.E. I said POSSE!"

Is there no longer commonsense? The newer the car the more it serves only foolishness, politicians, regulators and the special interests who also create costly harmful privacy stealing features. Joe Biden administration regulators have foisted this crap on customers just as they have with the impractical EVs that will also double or triple cost of electricity for all users.
