The Dems see an opportunity to make gains, even if Der Dotard somehow actually wins the presidential election. Of course, none of this spending will matter if voters do not show up on election day...

This appears to be a different approach than how the RNC is handling this. When Lara Trump, Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, was made the co-chair at the RNC she announced that a portion of all campaign contributions to Republican congressional candidates coming through the RNC's office would be transferred to Trump's presidential campaign (of course, it was never disclosed how much of this would eventually be directed toward covering his legal expenses).

"Harris and the DNC are shipping $20 million to committees supporting House and Senate candidates."

So that's why a Republican House PAC is passing a tin cup around asking for $35 million.

Meanwhile, Putin's bitch will continue to fleece the deplorables to pay his legal bills.

Down ballot Republicans should be questioning any part of donationintended to help them when he has access to millions from foreign dictators? Does he share those cash donations from Egypt with down ballot Republicans? I bet not!

DANNI

Downticket Republicans have no control over who gets how much from PAC'S. They can ask and make their case but really all they can do is hold their hand out and hope something falls into it.

Strictly speaking, (as you already know) the funds are supposed to be doled out to the downticket candidates most in need. But in this case and with a sock puppet like Speaker Johnson pulling the strings for Donald Trump, you can bet that Trump will end up taking his half out of the middle.

That wouldn't normally sound reasonable . . unless you consider that a Dictator has no use for a system of checks and balances.
