Kamala’s Father Knew Mass Immigration Hurts Black Families

Donald Harris warned that importing tens of millions of low-skilled migrants into the workforce would take jobs from black families. That's exactly what Kamala did as vice president

Comments

Then there's this little gem.

"When Donald Harris wrote that pamphlet, America was still four years away from implementing NAFTA, the Clinton administration's massive trade deal that ended up offshoring millions of factory jobs to Mexico, India, China, and other poor countries. A 2021 report by the leftist group Public Citizen found that NAFTA's globalization hit black and Latino workers hardest"costing black workers 494,000 jobs, particularly in the automative, metals, paper, and beverage industries"

I'm glad Clinton isn't running for president.

Hate to disappoint you, lfthndthrds, but NAFTA was George H.W. Bush's massive trade deal, and the agreement was signed in 1992, before Clinton was elected president.

You're welcome.

I don't need a hand-picked source to tell me this is correct. It happened and if was pushed off on Americans by none other than the same rotten candidates you want people to keep voting for.

You never disappoint.,

Neither do you. NAFTA wasn't negotiated by Bill Clinton at all.

George H.W. Bush, Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari, and Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney agreed to negotiate what became NAFTA. Each submitted the agreement for ratification in their respective capitals in December 1992, but NAFTA faced significant opposition in both the United States and Canada.

Clinton signed the Bush-written and negotiated agreement after Congress passed it. but he didn't initiate it nor alter what the other leaders completed themselves.

Correct. Clinton screwed organized labor by signing NAFTA. As well as low skilled workers.

100% oops:

The impetus for a North American free trade zone began with U.S. president Ronald Reagan, who made the idea part of his 1980 presidential campaign. After the signing of the Canada"United States Free Trade Agreement in 1988, the administrations of U.S. president George H. W. All three countries ratified NAFTA in 1993 after the addition of two side agreements, the North American Agreement on Labor Cooperation (NAALC) and the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (NAAEC).

I'm always curious how an immigrant "takes" a job. Do they go on to the factory floor and knock someone out? Do they wear a mask and clock in as someone else?
What I see is rich industrialists giving the job to someone else in order to enrich themselves at the workers expense. If you want to get pissed at someone, get pissed at them.
