Bleached blond for AG

WASHINGTON (AP) " President-elect Donald Trump said Thursday he will nominate former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to lead the Justice Department, turning to a longtime ally after his first choice, Matt Gaetz, withdrew his name from consideration amid scrutiny over sex trafficking allegations. Bondi has been an outspoken defender of Trump.

Indescribably great pick! Even better than Gaetz, who was awesome! Thank you, Your Majesty!

I was wondering what happened to Pam Bondi the other day when I read a list of other FL politicians who may either be AG or fill the appointed senate seat in FL.

Figured she was passing the time at Morgan & Morgan with other in between jobs politicians.

"Yikes" is right.
Better than Gaetz from a morals perspective, but she is batshhtcrazy.
Seriously, that elevator does not reach the top floor.

Lyrics excerpt...

...
Baby, I see this world has made you sad
Some people can be bad
The things they do, the things they say

But baby, I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
That turn your blue skies into grey

[Chorus]
Why worry? There should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now?
Why worry now?

Some of that will depend upon the structural integrity of the backbones of Republicans in the Senate during the confirmation hearings.

She's blonde and kinda hot. Do you think those are contributing factors to her craziness?

Do you think those are contributing factors to her craziness?

Certainly contributing factors to her nomination.

Is an apparent comparison to the crash of the Hindenburg valid?

Time will tell ...

Current events do, however, have a possibility to be even worse....

With reference to your query about the structural integrity of the backbones of Republicans in the Senate, I thought it appropriate.

Kinda like it folded up in the middle and crashed in a big heap of rubble.

@#12 ... I thought it appropriate. ...

Oh, I'm not saying the analogy is not appropriate.

I am just saying it is too soon to tell.

Now, looking at Pres-elect Trump's first administration, Trump 1.0 if you may, and the number of people he seemed to cause to die, yeah, The Hindenburg may be a viable comparison.

But "Trump 2.0?"

Too soon to tell.

I am just saying it is too soon to tell.

Well, we'll just have to disagree on that point.

The man is an idiot.

@#14 ... The man is an idiot. ...

I would have gone more with something along the line of...

Pes-elect Trump and his Project 2025 team seem to want to intentionally destroy the Federal government so that they can then declare a Federal emergency (due to a lack of government) and then presume a dictatorship-like rule.

But that's just me and my opinions.

;)

Don't be mean. I'm sure last time around Hope Hicks was hired exclusively due to her expertise and background.

@#4 ... Seriously, that elevator does not reach the top floor. ...

OK, that aside for now ...

She seems to have two characteristics for the position.

1) as the Bellringer current alias said in #9 ... She's blonde and kinda hot. ...

2) Then she also was among a group of Republicans who showed up to support Trump at his New York hush money criminal trial, a show of unfettered adulation.

Which one of those two mattered in this instance?

I have not a clue.

I recall predicting Hope Hicks would be the next Chief of Staff after the current old, not hot incumbent gets fired.

For those with access, this is a really good run-down on Bondi. The good and the bad.

Sounds like my wife was 35 years ago. Somehow the craziness set in more as the anniversaries started piling up.
