Analyst: Apple and Tesla will Be Exempt from Tariffs

One such prediction has to do with Apple (and Tesla), providing a glimpse into how Wall Street is viewing the looming Trump tariffs and their impact on US tech companies.

Tim Cook was able to convince Trump on exempting Apple from tariffs on their products during Trump's first term. I fully expect Musk to get tariff exemptions for Tesla, given his closeness to Trump.

No surprise to me.

Tariffs are a punishment for those companies that do not fall into line behind Pres-elect Trump.

Kiss his ample hind-quarters --- OK, for you, no tariffs.

Criticize him? --- your supply chain is disrupted.

Where can I apply to be exempt from income tax, please?

Which countries don't have taxes? At present, there are 14 countries without income taxes.

These include Antigua and the neighboring Barbuda, Saint Kitts, the United Arab Emirates, Vanuatu, Brunei, Bahrain, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Monaco, Kuwait, Qatar, Somalia, and Western Sahara.Oct 2, 2024

Take your pick.

Was that the choice that Apple was given?

@#2 ... Why Trump's pivot to using tariffs as a political weapon is so dangerous for the economy ...

It looks like Pres-elect Trump may be using tariffs as one of the tools in his retribution and retaliation presidency.

duh. The real question is what was promised to attain this exemption.

Just assume all actions from here on out are geared towards mediating money extraction.

You likely won't be wrong the majority of the time.
