Elon Musk's Government Takeover

Feb 2, 2025 News Updates

Let's talk about today's article on Wired.com, which speaks of how Elon Musk, with the help of six young men between the ages of 19 and 24, is seizing control of the Federal infrastructure.

Here are a few quotes from the article, which I'll link to down below in case you would like to read it, which I suggest you do because this article is every bit as disturbing as it sounds.

Comments

The Wired article is Paywalled, but there's a link to it at the thread link, which is a short few minute video that reproduces much of the article in balloon form, and has a Transcript.

excerpt

"this article is every bit as disturbing
as it sounds Elon Musk takeover of
federal government infrastructure is
ongoing and at the center of things is a
coterie of Engineers who are barely out of
and in at least one case purportedly
still in college

most have connections
to musk and at least two have
connections to Musk longtime associate
Peter Theil, a co-founder and chairman of
the analytics firm and government
contractor Palantir, who has a long
expressed opposition to democracy"

Shows how much of a literal piece of paper our Constitution is and how meaningless the oath to it so many swore.

Where are any of the feds? The military? Judiciary? Anybody to at least throw up an obstacle to the blatantly illegal actions of a private citizen with zero authority to do what he's doing?

I don't think there was ever a possibility of it happening. The system only functioned because the people in it were acting in good faith to make it work. It wasn't prepared or able to deal with someone who wasn't.

And our electorate is just stupid and lazy enough to elect a man to do it even though it was clear that's what he was.

- the people in it were acting in good faith to make it work.

Apparently 'good faith' has been removed from the Trumper lexicon.
