Ageing Members of Congress Are Being Treated For Dementia

What if I told you multiple members of congress are being treated for dementia at a top-secret luxury clinic under Capitol Hill. Oh, and it's funded by taxpayers.

I actually wouldn't mind politicians getting perks and care... if they were salaried employees of their local, city, state, nation government, and would be arrested if they ever took money from anyone or any corporation, who would also be arrested.

Bribery used to be a crime.

You mean Yurtle isn't the only one that will suddenly freeze up and tumble down stairs?

There needs to be mandatory retirement.

Mandatory retirement age is crucial for many reasons.

This being one of them.

In addition to this outstanding medical care, members of congress have access to a DCANG passenger jet for international trips called CODELs (I flew on on one and received a delicious USAF meal). By salary, perks, and benefits, across party lines senators and congressmen have more in common with each other than the constituents they serve, like a politburo. When was the last time you were medically treated by a Rear Admiral for free, if not pennies?

USN RADM Brian Patrick Monahan is the Attending Physician to Congress. He looks like a nice Irishman.

It's what we need more elected members in their 80s.
