The cutting of US intelligence to Ukrainian soldiers forced a retreat in occupied Russian Kursk. This was the only Russian territory occupied by Volodymyr Zelensky's forces during the three-year war which Moscow began. Scenes of Kiev's troops mangled, burned, and on the run filtering back to the capital have reinforced distrust of America and Russia. Besides the wealthy oligarchs, the biggest winners of the Nov 2024 election are war criminals Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu.
